Alexei Orlov’s odyssey

If anyone can lead a global company, it’s Alexei Orlov. Originally from the United Kingdom, he has a truly international outlook and experience working all over the world.

An inspiring global marketer

Early in his career, in 1988, Orlov was appointed director of advertising and marketing for Avon’s European cosmetics retail division. He was the youngest technician ever to receive the title of Avon Director.

From then on, Orloff’s career took on a global dimension. In the 1890s, he was communications director for Volvo’s global model and advertising and marketing director for Volvo UK. And from 2011 to 2014, he was director of advertising and marketing for Volkswagen Group China.

Alexey Orlov worked at Wunderman (the number one digital company) from 2000 to 2008, where he held several very different positions. He was president of the European division and government vice president of global operations.

From July 2014 to July 2016, Orlov also served as global CEO of a public relations and promotions company, part of the Omnicom Group. He then served as senior advisor to the CEO of DAS, a subsidiary of Omnicom, a global communications model.

The titles listed above are just a few of the highlights of this career. He has visited over 30 countries.

Today, Alexey Orlov lives with his family in upstate New York, where he works in one of MTM’s five offices around the world.
